DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR TURKEY TOURIST VISA

 

  1. Original Passport (Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and should have at least 2 full blank pages available in it). Also provide 2 photo copies of Passport first and last page.

Note:

  1. Passports which are not issued in jurisdiction for applicants applying under the jurisdiction of Consulate General of Turkey Mumbai need to be submitted with local address proof which consists of Valid Lease and Licence copy (Should be valid until your stay in Turkey), Purchase/ Sales agreement. (All the documents must be notarized)
  2. Aadhar Card, Electricity Bill can also be submitted with Notary and Mantralaya.

All the documents should be in English Language.

  1. Visa Application Form (Available for download on website) it should be filled manually by blue or black ink in block letters with 2 white background photographs having size 2.5inch x 2.5inch.
  2. Online form filling format for sticker visa (https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/Visa/Index)

    1. Online form needs to be filled in CAPITAL LETTERS only for all categories.
    2. For all categories - Mother and Father name needs to be mention in online form.
    3. For Tourist & Business - No of Travel days should be 02 days extra from the date of departure in Turkey.
    4. For all categories - In case of no surname then two dots without space (..) needs to be mention in field Surname.
    5. For work permit applications -"NAME OF HOST PERSON OR HOST COMPANY" should be "HOST COMPANY NAME" mentioned on the contract copy.
    6. For work permit applications - No of Days to be mention is 90 days from date of travel and will be single entry visa only.
  3. Covering letter from the applicant in type format, mentioning the purpose of stay in details, accompanying person details, duration of stay, occupation and expenses clause.
  4. Tour Itinerary (Required in typed format and not written)
  5. Hotel Reservation (Required confirmation number and if booked through agents/tour operator then details of applicants name, check-in & check-out dates on letterhead with seal, signature, name & designation with VD number to be mentioned )
  6. Confirmed Return Ticket
  7. Travel Insurance is mandatory requirement which should fulfill the below requirements.

    1. Medical Evacuation and repatriation expenses
    2. Personal accidental death
    3. Personal liability
    4. Daily allowance in hospitalization cases
    5. This plan should cover the insured for a minimum of Euro 30000.
  8. Note: The travel insurance dates should end 2 days after the date of departure mentioned in the flight ticket.

  9. For Minors applications below documents to be submitted
    1. Covering letter from both the parents if minor is travelling alone.
    2. Parents passport photocopy needs to be attached.
    3. NOC on 100rs Stamp Paper with notary needs to be provided if minor is travelling alone or if accompanied by one parent. 

      Note: If parents has availed Turkish E-Visa, and wish to apply for minor application, then along with minor application they needs to submit their original passport with Covering letter from both the parents, E-Visa copy, Hotel bookings, Passport Copy and Air Tickets.
  10. Authorization Letter is required from the applicant in case application is submitted by a Representative or Travel Agent along with the Original Government ID Proof of the representative.
  11. If Salaried Person/Employed:

    Original Leave letter from employer on company letter head with authorized person sign and stamp (Leave letter should mention the applicant & person signing the letter Name & designation)

    1. Covering Letter duly signed on A4 size paper (Typed format) explaining the purpose of the trip, duration of stay in Turkey etc.
    2. Last 3 months’ salary slips with original stamp and sign of the company.
    3. Last 3 months’ Salary account statements attested and signed by the bank.
  12. If Self-employed:
    1. Covering letter duly signed on personal business letter head with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal explaining the purpose of the trip, duration of stay in Turkey etc.
    2. If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprietor/director, please provide incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership registration and partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicant’s name should be mentioned.
      1. If the applicant is proprietor then he/she needs to provide proprietorship proof in which applicant name and company name should be mentioned also Original Notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not(Content should be in English)
      2. If the applicant is partner then he/she needs to provide partnership registration and partnership deed with Original Notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not.(Content should be in English)
      3. If the applicants are the Director of company then he/she needs to provide Director Proof with applicant Name and Company Name mention on the same with Original Notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not.(Content should be in English)
      4. If the applicant is Freelancer then he/she needs to submit the freelance proof (Contact Copy/Company letter mentioning the same/any other proof of freelancing) (Content should be in English)
    3. Last 3 month's personal bank statement attested and signed by the bank.
  13. If Student:
    1. Original leave letter from the School /University.
    2. Copy of valid ID card of School/University.
    3. Last 3 months' personal bank statement or sponsor's bank statement and sponsorship letter if being sponsored.
  14. For Freelancer:
    1. Contract papers/Agreement papers with client.
    2. Leave sanctioned letter from clients.
    3. Income proof.
    4. Last 3 month's personal bank statement attested and signed by the bank.
  15. If Retired Person:
    1. Retirement proof
    2. Income proof (if any: pension slips, rent from property etc.) 
    3. Last 3 month's personal bank statement attested and signed by the bank.
  16. If applying for Dependent Visa:
    1. Invitation letter from the person in Turkey.
    2. Passport copy of the person in Turkey.
    3. Permanent Residence copy of the person in Turkey or Work Permit copy of the person in Turkey as applicable.
    4. Address Proof of Turkey from the person in Turkey. (Color copy is required)
    5. Last 3 months' Turkish Bank Statement of the person in Turkey.
    6. Last 3 months' Indian Bank statements of applicant applying from India.
    7. Original NOC letter from the person in Turkey (In case of minor child). The NOC Letter should be attested by Indian Embassy in Turkey.

Note:

  • All Applicant needs to submit personal covering letter in typed format.

    Main applicants documents copies should be attached is rest of application

    Example:- If an applicant is bearing expenses for his accompany family members, all documents of main applicant needs to be attached in other members application including minors.

  • If parents has availed Turkish E-Visa, and wish to apply for minor application, then along with minor application they needs to submit their original passport with Covering letter, E-Visa copy, Hotel bookings,  Passport Copy and Air Tickets.

    • If any accompany member traveling along with the applicant who wish to apply for sticker visa then he/she needs to submit E-visa copy, Passport Copy & Valid copy of UK, USA or Schengen visa.

    Minimum Balance required for Individual is 01 lakh and for accompany member should be 01 lakh * numbers of person.

  • All applications submitted would require physical signatures of the applicant/representative in the “VAF sheet “generated post data entry on the Turkish portal.
  • After the consulate verifies the documents submitted by the applicant, the consulate holds the right to ask for additional documents depending on the case if required.
  • If consulate asks for additional or pending documents then Travel tickets, Insurance, Hotel bookings & Online form needs to be resubmitted as per working days.

Documents for Tourist visa under New Delhi Jurisdiction

  1. Original Passport (Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and should have at least 2 full blank pages available in it). Also provide 2 photo copies of Passport first and last page.

    Passports which are not issued in jurisdiction for applicants applying under the jurisdiction of The Turkish Embassy, New Delhi need to be submitted with local address proof. (Only Registered Leave and License Agreement copy).

  6. Travel Insurance is mandatory requirement which should fulfill the below requirements.

    5. This plan should cover the insured for a minimum of Euro 30000.

    Note: The travel insurance should cover the entire stay of applicant.

  7. Minors need Consent Form if travelling alone or with both the parents. (The NOC will be provided by the parents if accompanied by both the parents) The consent NOC must be on stamp paper notarized.
  8. Authorization Letter is required from the applicant in case application is submitted by a Representative or Travel Agent along with the Original Government ID Proof of the representative.
  9. If Salaried person/Employed:

    1. Original Leave letter from employer on company letter head with authorized sign and stamp.

  1. Visa application form filled with 2 white background having size 2.5inch x 2.5inch
  2. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and have 2 full blank pages available
  3. Original Leave letter from employer / covering letter in personal business letter head (if self-employed) with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal. If covering letter is on business letterhead please also provide copy of company registration certificate originallyattested by the Mantralaya or MEA and notorised .
  4. If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprieter/director,please provide incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicants’s name should be mentioned. Original Notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not (for Mumbai and its satellites).
  5. Last 3 months personal bank statement in original or copies attested by bank(with original stamp and sign) and with sufficient funds(1 Lac and above)
  6. For applicants who are employed,should provide salary account and salary slips(for the last three months with original stamp and sign) as mandatory documents .

  11. Original passport
  12. Minors need consent form if travelling alone or with one parent. The consent NOC must be on stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant and notarized.
  13. Travel Insurance is mandatory requirement.

    The travel insurance should cover the following (for Delhi, Mumbai and its satellites)

    1. Medical,Evacuation and repatriation expenses

    Note: Applicants applying form Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum and Pondicherry needs to have travel insurance dates ending 2 days after the date of departure mentioned in the flight ticket.

  14. Passports which are not issued in jurisdiction for applicants applying in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry can be submitted with local address proof . (Only registered leave and license agreement copy and it needs to be notorised and attested from the Mantralaya)
  15. After,the consulate verifies the documents submitted by the applicant, the consulate holds the right to ask for additional documents depending on the case if required.

Applicants from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Orissa who wish to travel to Turkey need to submit the below documents;

  1. Original passport (with at least 6 months validity; and at least two empty pages)

    • Previous passport needs to be submitted if current passport is issued after 2015
  2. Visa application form filled with BLOCK letters only and must sign on the hard copy https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/

  7. Leave letter from the company stating your designation, period of work, salary, Purpose of visit and duration of travel (if employed)
  8. No-objection certificate of school or university (if student)

  10. Proof of accommodation: Hotel reservation for your entire stay in Turkey
  11. Proof of financial status:
      1. If employed: Pay slips of last three months (with Co. seal) / employment contract
        • Income tax returns (ITR) or form 16 with signature for last three years
        • Personal bank statement of last Six months with Original Bank Seal and with sufficient funds (1 Lac and above)
      2. If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprieter/director,please provide incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicants’s name should be mentioned. Original Notary needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not.
    • Company profile on company letter head with seal and signature is mandatory
    • Income tax returns (ITR) for last three years.
    • Personal bank statement of last Six months with Original Bank Seal and with sufficient funds (1 Lac and above)
  12. Proof of civil status: marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable
  13. 2 Photograph according to biometric specifications, not older than 6 months (Photo Specifications – size 2.5 Inches x 2.5 Inches, Full face, front view, eyes open, white background, natural expression, Height of the head between 25-35mm)
  14. Authorization letter from the applicant incase application is submitted by Travel Agent along with Photo ID of travel agent.
  15. If company  incentive group : Company covering letter on business letterhead  with entire applicant name list with MEA attestation needs to be  submitted.

  8. Last 3 months bank statement of company and personal, in original or copies attested by bank(with original stamp and sign) and with sufficient funds(1 Lac and above)
  9. 3 months’ salary slip with original stamp and sign of the company and salary account attested by company
  10. Confirmed return ticket
  11. 2 photo copies of Passport first and last page.
  12. Travel Insurance is mandatory requirement.

    The travel insurance should cover the following (for Mumbai and its satellites)

    1. Medical,Evacuation and repatriation expenses
    2. Personal accidental death
    3. Personal liability
    4. Daily allowance in hospitalisation cases.

    This plan should cover the insured for a minimum of Euro 30000.

    Note: Applicants applying form Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum and Pondicherry needs to have travel insurance dates ending 2 days after the date of departure mentioned in the flight ticket

  13. Passports which are not issued in jurisdiction for applicants applying in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry can be submitted with local address proof . (Only registered leave and license agreement copy and it needs to be notorised and attested from the Mantralaya).
  14. Documents Required For Montage Visa (For applicants applying in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry)

    1. All documents mentioned above from number 1 till 13 .
    2. Agreement copy between the Turkish and Indian company.
    3. Proforma invoice of the machinery purchased/sold.
    4. Copy of bill of lading .
    5. Travel insurance for Montage Visa needs to be valid for 90 days from date of arrival in Turkey (For applicants applying in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry)

Applicants from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Orissa who wish to travel to Turkey need to submit the below documents;

  1. Original passport (with at least 6 months validity; and at least two empty pages)

    • Previous passport needs to be submitted if current passport is issued after 2015
  2. Visa application form filled with BLOCK letters only and must sign on the hard copy https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/
  3. copy of your passport’s data page (A4 size copy)

  5. Company covering letter with entire travel plan (itinerary)
  6. Invitation letter from the business partner in Turkey in English or Turkish

    • Business partner name, contact number and email id is mandatory on invitation letter
  7. Confirmed flight itenary
  8. Proof of accommodation: Hotel reservation for your entire stay in Turkey
  9. Recommendation letter from the Chamber of Commerce ( if employed) Certificate of Incorporation of the company ( if self-employed)
  10. Company Income Tax Returns for last three years.
  11. Company Bank Statement of last three months with Original Bank Seal
  12. Proof of financial status:

    • If employed: Pay slips of last three months (with Co. seal) / employment contract

      1. Income tax returns (ITR) or form 16 with signature for last three years.
      2. Personal bank statement of last Six months with Original Bank Seal and with sufficient funds (1 Lac and above)
    • If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprieter/director,please provide incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicants’s name should be mentioned. Original Notary needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not 

      1. Income tax returns (ITR) for last three years
      2. Personal bank statement of last Six months with Original Bank Seal and with sufficient funds (1 Lac and above)
      3. Company profile on company letter head with seal and signature is mandatory
  13. Proof of civil status: marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable
  14. 2 Photograph according to biometric specifications, not older than 6 months (Photo Specifications – size 2.5 Inches x 2.5 Inches, Full face, front view, eyes open, white background, natural expression, Height of the head between 25-35mm)
  15. Authorization letter from the applicant incase application is submitted by Travel Agent along with Photo ID of travel agent.

    Applicant applying for Montage visa needs to submit below documents in addition to the above:

    1. Agreement copy between the Turkish and Indian company.
    2. Proforma invoice of the machinery purchased/sold.
    3. Copy of Bill of lading.

Note: Additional documents needs to be submitted, if requested by the Turkey Consulate.
