Passenger categories permitted to travel to Kuwaitfrom India:
Passengers with valid residence to Kuwait and vaccinated with approved vaccines in the State of Kuwait: Two doses of Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, AstraZeneca/ Oxford vaccine, Moderna vaccine or one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Passengers with valid residence to Kuwait and vaccinated with two doses of one of the unapproved vaccines in the State of Kuwait (Sino pharm – Sinovac – Sputnik) must receive at least one additional dose of one of the approved vaccines in the State of Kuwait.
Non-immunized domestic workers can be recruited as listed in points 1 and 2 by registration in Bilsalamah platform
Age categories less than 18 years old and abroad whom allowed to be vaccinated and holding valid resident permit of Kuwait and those were unable to be vaccinated will be allowed one-time entry to Kuwait provided that institutional and home quarantine is applied. They must also sign a pledge of vaccination upon their entry into Kuwait and hand it over to the Ministry of Interior.
Mandatory Requirements for passengers travelling to Kuwait:
1. Valid Residence to Kuwait
a. Passengers who exited Kuwait on/ after 01 September 2019 are permitted to enter Kuwait, provided they are in possession of a valid residence permit/ visa.
b. Passengers who exited Kuwait on/ before 31 August 2019 are not permitted to enter the State of Kuwait even with valid residence.
2. Proof of immunization: –
a. If immunized in Kuwait, they must proof immunization upon arrival through (Immune or Kuwait mobile ID or Kuwait-mosafer).
b. If immunized outside Kuwait, passengers must present a vaccination certificate which includes the passenger name matching their passport, type of vaccination received, date of doses taken, name of vaccine agency and electronic readable QR code. If no QR code is available, then vaccination certificate must be uploaded through Ministry of Health website for authentication.
3. Carry a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test result, with the test taken no more than 72 hours prior to their arrival in Kuwait. The test must be conducted at ICMR-approved labs and the report should have machine-readable QR code.
4. Download Immune App (Green Status), which should have Name & passport number matching to travel passport, type of Vaccination received, date of doses taken and name of vaccine agency
5. Civil Id or Mobile Civil ID uploaded on mobile which can be matched with the passport details like name, passport number, date of birth etc.
6. Register on Kuwait-Mosafer (Digital Copy or Hard Copy)
7. All passengers must activate Shlonik program upon arrival.
*Passengers must ensure that they comply with all travel and health requirements of the destination country. If passengers are denied entry, they will have to bear the cost of penalty/ deportation.
